3107 75% Boer
4JHB Red Cherokee Buck
Birth Date: 1/18/07 Twin
This Buck is out of our P2-32
Painted Doe that has done a
great job for us the past two
years. She’s a half blood Nubian
Pedigreed % Doe with no skin,
real leveled design, and a
beautiful front end. Her
yearling daughter is without a
doubt one of the best does at
our partners’ ranch, Brown’s
Boer. His Sire is SHA1 Cherokee
a Full Blood War Paint son from
Shawcroft Boer Goats. Red
Cherokee is a real wether
designed Buck that’s level made,
upheaded, smooth shouldered good
hided and top. His feet and legs
are good. His twin sister is the
2nd Best prospect doe on the
place and Phonotypical the Best.
I know a lot of people look down
on a % buck, but the goal at
Baby Blue Show Pigs & Goats is
to make the Best Show Wethers
Possible and have bred a large
percentage of our own herd to a
% Buck we call Fabio. This
decision was based on our past
experience in the show lamb and
pig business. Knowing some of
our very best prospects have
been crossbred animals and this
seem to be the quick path to the
place we want to be. Came join
us on our run. |

For Sale $750.00
2007 75% Boer 4JHB 50 Grand Buck
Birth Date: 1/18/07 Triple
This Buck is out of our $5,000 P1-4 that has
done a great job for use the past two years.
She’s a half blood Spanish Pedigreed % Doe
that can best be described as a huge framed,
class act doe. All three of her daughters
have been retained in the herd the past two
years, which was not the easiest thing to
do, considering the generous offered being
made on those females. This was the doe we
wanted to start our herd with and have not
regretted her purchase once. His Sire is
SHA1 Cherokee a Full Blood War Paint son
from Shawcroft Boer Goats. This Buck has a
huge loin edge, with no skin, real up headed
and huge bone work. His front shoulder is
real smooth and flat boned.
Since 1994, we have had a great interest in
the Wether Goat business. We decided to
watch the industry and see what direction is
was going to take before getting involved
with our eyes open. In 2004, we started with
six select does and gathered a another 50
plus does the following year to get started
in this enterprise. To our surprise we had
only ten wethers born in our first kidding
season in Fall of 05, Spring of 06. We sent
eight of them out with four class winners
and two that stood in the top five at
Arizona National and National Western
Stockshow. Not a bad first year. The does we
started with were select for market show
wether production based on show lamb
qualities. Level Designed, Tight Skinned,
Upheaded, Huge framed, and Super Sound Does
with pedigrees that we had been following
the past ten years, our selections were made
with the thought of moving in to the winners
circle as quickly as possible. The purchase
of Festo, a line bred Billy Ray Buck and
Cherokee has given us a great start. Fabio,
in our minds, will continue to project us in
the right direction. We would like to thank
Bob Halley for his foresight and for the job
he done of helping put together a great set
of beginner does. Also, for his continued
support and partnership in this enterprise.
Thanks to Brown’s Boers for their
investment, time, and partnership. With
that, were proud to announce our
Reproductive Reducing Private Treaty Sale.
Selling Bred Does, Aged Does, Yearlings, Doe
lings, and Bucks. Over Forty head of Does to
sale ranging from Full Blood, % Does and
Non-pedigreed wether moms. Does price from
$100.00 to $750.00. Look for their picture
updates and give us call, we will do our
best to fit your needs. |
